Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have questions about the international moving process? We'll explain it to you!
Carrying out an international move will always involve more than one company. Typically, a company in the country of origin, one in the destination country, and an international transport company (for sea or air shipment) are required, ensuring door-to-door services.
We offer in our services the handling of documents at both customs and carry out the entire logistic process, from the original residence to the destination residence.
It depends on the origin and destination countries. Most of the times, the required documents are personal documents, as well as documents showing the international transportation and the content of the shipment.
What are the different requirements for the different types of visa (work, study, residency, etc)?
That depends on the destination country. For the most part, it is only possible to have a move shipped to a country when one has a work, study ou residency visa or when one is returning to its birth country.
Household goods and personal effects, in general, may be included in the shipment. Those include clothing, books, decorations, house appliances and furniture. Depending on the destination country, working tools may also be included. Each country has its own regulations and items that are allowed or not.
Yes! We provide specialised packing services for shipments going to another country as well as premium standard packing materials, made specifically for exports.
